Products Description

Monel 400 is an alloy composed of approximately 63% nickel, 31% copper, and small amounts of iron, manganese and other elements. This alloy is favored for its stability in extreme environments and excellent corrosion resistance. The diameter of this thermal spray wire is usually between 0.8mm and 3.2mm, and its tensile strength ranges from 550MPa to 750MPa. It has a melting point of approximately 1300°C (2375°F) and remains stable in high temperature environments. In addition to its excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, Monel 400 also has good weldability and processability. Due to these characteristics, Monel 400 thermal spray wire is widely used in marine engineering, chemical industry, aerospace, energy and other fields, such as seawater treatment equipment, ship parts, chemical valves, etc., becoming one of the important choices in engineering design.
