Production Process

Raw material preparation: Select high-purity nickel metal as raw material. These raw materials usually go through a smelting and refining process to ensure they are of the required purity.


Melting and Casting: Raw nickel metal is heated to melting temperature, usually using an electric arc or induction furnace. Molten nickel metal can be cast into billets, such as billets or cylindrical billets.


Hot rolling or cold rolling: The cast billet is heated to the appropriate temperature and then rolled through the hot rolling or cold rolling process. Hot rolling is performed at high temperatures, while cold rolling is performed at room temperature. The purpose of rolling is to gradually reduce the diameter of the billet and improve its tensile properties and mechanical properties.


Annealing treatment: During or after rolling, pure nickel wire is annealed. Annealing is to heat materials to high temperatures and keep them in a controlled environment for a certain period of time to eliminate internal stress and improve the plastic and mechanical properties of the material.


Drawing: The annealed pure nickel wire is gradually reduced in diameter through a series of drawing processes to obtain the required wire diameter. Drawing is achieved by continuously stretching the wire through a steel die or tungsten alloy die.


Cleaning and surface treatment: Pure nickel wire is cleaned and surface treated to remove surface impurities and oxides and improve its surface finish and corrosion resistance.


Testing and quality control: Various testing and quality control steps are performed on the produced pure nickel wire, such as chemical composition analysis, dimensional measurement, mechanical performance testing, appearance inspection, etc., to ensure that it meets specifications and quality requirements.


Packaging and Delivery: Pure nickel wire that meets quality standards will be packaged as required and ready for delivery to the customer or further processing and application.
