Products Description
Type J Fiberglass/Silicone/PVC insulated thermocouple compensation wire/ extension cable
Description
J-type thermocouples are widely popular in industrial and scientific research fields due to their stable performance, easy maintenance, and economical cost. Iron copper nickel thermocouple (J-type thermocouple), also known as iron constantan thermocouple, is a type of thermocouple commonly used for temperature measurement and control. The positive electrode (JP) is made of pure iron, while the negative electrode (JN) is made of copper nickel alloy, commonly known as constantan. The nominal chemical composition of constantan is about 55% copper and 45% nickel, while containing small but very important elements such as cobalt, iron, and manganese. Although this thermocouple is called constantan, it is different from other types of constantan such as nickel chromium constantan and copper constantan, and therefore cannot be replaced by EN or TN.
The iron constantan thermocouple covers a wide range of measurement temperature ranges, from -210 ° C to 1200 ° C, but the commonly used temperature range is 0 ° C to 750 ° C. This type of thermocouple is widely used in industrial production, scientific laboratories, and other temperature monitoring fields, providing a reliable solution for temperature measurement.
