Introduce
CuNi1 (Constantan, NC003)
Resistivity: low, about 0.03μΩ·m (20℃)
Operating temperature: up to 200°C
Features: Excellent corrosion resistance, good processing performance, suitable for manufacturing heating cables, snow melting cables and heating elements in low-voltage electrical appliances.
CuNi2
Nickel content: about 2%
Features: Higher nickel content than CuNi1 provides better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, suitable for more harsh application environments.
CuNi6
Nickel content: about 6%
Features: The further increased nickel content enhances the material's seawater corrosion resistance and is suitable for corrosion-resistant parts in marine environments or chemical industries.
CuNi8
Nickel content: about 8%
Application: Usually used in applications requiring higher corrosion resistance and strength, such as marine equipment and resistance wires in certain special environments.
Common characteristics:
Corrosion Resistance: All these copper-nickel alloys have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in salty and sulfur-containing environments.
Processability: It has good processing performance and can be made into the required shape and size of resistance wire through various processes.
Stability: No phase change occurs during hot and cold processing, ensuring the consistency of the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Wide range of applications: In addition to being used for resistance wires and heating elements, it can also be used to manufacture chemical equipment, ship accessories, seawater desalination equipment, etc.
Application areas:
Electrical appliance manufacturing: such as thermocouples, resistors, low-voltage circuit breakers, etc.
Marine engineering: cooling systems of ships, fire piping of offshore platforms, etc.
Chemical industry: corrosion-resistant pipes, valves, heat exchangers, etc.
Heating equipment: heating cables, snow melting systems, heating elements for household appliances, etc.
Copper-nickel resistance wire achieves the resistance characteristics and corrosion resistance required in specific applications by precisely controlling the nickel content and other alloying elements, making it an indispensable material in electrical and industrial applications.
