Products Description
Pure nickel rods are widely used in seawater treatment equipment, mainly due to their good corrosion resistance and resistance to seawater corrosion. The following is about the application of pure nickel rods in seawater treatment equipment:
Desalination equipment: Desalination is the process of converting seawater into fresh water, in which pure nickel rods can be used to manufacture key components in desalination equipment. Since seawater contains high levels of salt and corrosive substances, pure nickel rods can resist corrosion from seawater and maintain long-term stable operation of equipment.
Seawater cooling system: In the field of marine engineering and shipbuilding, pure nickel rods are often used in heat exchangers and cooling pipes in seawater cooling systems. Pure nickel rods resist salts, oxides and other corrosive substances in seawater, keeping cooling systems operating efficiently and extending the life of equipment.
Seawater pump equipment: Pure nickel rods can be used to manufacture key components of seawater pump equipment, such as pump shafts and pump casings. Salt and corrosive substances in seawater can easily cause damage to pump equipment, and the corrosion resistance of pure nickel rods can effectively protect pump equipment and improve its durability and reliability.
Seawater treatment pipes and valves: Pipes and valves in seawater treatment equipment are also common applications for pure nickel rods. Pipes and valves made of pure nickel rods have excellent corrosion resistance and sealing performance, and can effectively resist corrosion and clogging problems in seawater, ensuring the normal operation of seawater treatment systems.
All in all, pure nickel rods are widely used in seawater treatment equipment due to their corrosion resistance. The material can resist corrosion from salts, oxides and other corrosive substances in seawater, protecting the integrity and performance of equipment and ensuring efficient and reliable operation of the seawater treatment process.
Ni200 Pure Nickel Bar
Composition: Ni200 Pure Nickel Bar is made from more than 99.6% nickel. Its high purity gives it excellent corrosion resistance, especially in reducing and alkaline environments.
Mechanical Properties: Ni200 has good mechanical properties at room temperature and maintains stable strength and ductility at elevated temperatures.
Corrosion Resistance: Due to its high purity, Ni200 has good corrosion resistance to a wide range of corrosive media (e.g. acids, alkalis, chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, etc.). It performs particularly well in reducing acids, caustics, chlorides and organics.
Thermal and Electrical Conductivity: This alloy has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, making it ideal for a wide range of heat exchange equipment and electrical components.
Ni201 Pure Nickel Bar
Composition: Ni201 is also a pure nickel alloy, the main difference from Ni200 is its lower carbon content (0.02% max). The lower carbon content gives Ni201 better resistance to precipitated carbides at elevated temperatures.
Thermal Stability: Ni201 is more thermally stable at elevated temperatures and is suitable for use in temperatures up to 315°C (600°F) while preventing embrittlement due to carbon precipitation.
Corrosion Resistance: Like Ni200, Ni201 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and alkaline environments and is particularly stable in chemical processing environments at elevated temperatures.
Features:
Corrosion resistance: Pure nickel rods have excellent corrosion resistance and can resist salt corrosion and other corrosive media in seawater, extending the service life of equipment.
Oxidation resistance: Pure nickel rods can remain stable in high temperature and oxidizing environments and are not prone to oxidation reactions. They are suitable for high temperature applications in seawater treatment equipment.
Strength and rigidity: Pure nickel rods have high strength and rigidity and can withstand the pressure and mechanical stress in seawater treatment equipment.
